1-Acceptance of Terms

By accessing srseg.com or contacting our sales team to request any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

As our website does not require account registration, any updates to these terms will be published directly on this page. Continued communication with us or use of our services after publication constitutes implicit acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our website and services.

2-Services & Quotations

Smart Room Solutions provides consultation, supply, and installation services for smart automation and security systems across residential and commercial properties, including:

  • Smart home and building automation (lighting, HVAC, curtains, voice control)
  • Security solutions — video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems
  • Network infrastructure design, installation, and distribution
  • Energy management and environmental sensor systems
  • Post-installation technical support and maintenance

All prices shared via the website or during initial correspondence are estimates only and do not constitute a binding offer. A formal quotation is only valid once an on-site technical assessment has been completed and a written, authorized quote has been issued.

  • Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue due to market fluctuations
  • Prices are quoted in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless otherwise stated
  • A deposit is required before project initiation as outlined in the signed agreement
  • Scope changes after project commencement may result in revised pricing

3-Supply, Warranty & Returns

All equipment and devices supplied by SRS are subject to the warranty and replacement policies of the respective authorized brand distributors. SRS acts as an intermediary in facilitating these policies on behalf of the client.

In accordance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law, consumers have the right to exchange or return goods within 14 days of purchase, provided they are in original condition. The following are excluded:

  • Systems that have been installed, programmed, or custom-configured per the client’s request — these are considered “executed services” and are non-refundable under applicable law
  • Damage resulting from power surges, misuse, or unauthorized modifications

SRS guarantees the quality of installation workmanship for the period specified in the signed service agreement.

4-Installation & Project Execution

All installation work is carried out in accordance with the agreed scope and approved technical drawings. SRS is not liable for:

  • Delays caused by site unavailability or third-party interference
  • Damage resulting from pre-existing structural or electrical issues
  • Changes requested by the client after installation has commenced

Upon project completion, a formal handover session will be conducted to demonstrate full system operation to the client or their designated representative.

5-Client Responsibilities & Legal Use

The client agrees to:

  • Provide full, safe site access during agreed working hours
  • Ensure electrical and civil infrastructure is ready before installation begins
  • Appoint a single authorized contact for all project-related communications
  • Promptly review and sign off on completed milestones
  • Not attempt to modify, reconfigure, or tamper with installed systems

The client is solely responsible for the legal use of all installed systems — particularly surveillance cameras — and must comply with Egypt’s Privacy Protection Laws. The client is also responsible for obtaining any permits or licenses required to operate security systems on their premises.

SRS disclaims all liability for any unlawful use of supplied systems or any privacy violations resulting from the client’s misuse of installed equipment.

6-Data Protection & Cybersecurity

SRS is committed to Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. We collect only the data necessary for communication (name, phone number) and do not share it with third parties.

  • Our platforms may use third-party technical services (such as hosting or analytics) that independently collect technical data — SRS is not responsible for the privacy policies of these providers
  • SRS takes reasonable measures to secure its website but cannot be held liable for cyberattacks or breaches originating from third-party software vulnerabilities beyond our reasonable technical control
  • Security footage and access logs from installed systems remain the exclusive property and responsibility of the client

7-Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, SRS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, third-party security breaches, or system downtime.

In cases where negligence is proven, SRS’s maximum legal liability shall not exceed the total value of the specific service in dispute — without prejudice to mandatory provisions under the Egyptian Consumer Protection Authority.

8-Intellectual Property

All website content — including logos, text, system designs, and technical documentation — is the exclusive intellectual property of Smart Room Solutions. Reproduction, quotation, or use of any content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

9-Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Egyptian courts (including the Economic Courts where applicable).
